European action will dominate this weekend but the biggest rivalry in Irish rugby continues to be a huge crowd-puller, with tickets for Munster against Leinster in a fortnight selling out in record time.

Munster have installed additional goal-line seating for the mouth-watering clash to increase the capacity for Thomond Park to 26,267.

Fans have snapped up the tickets as these two great rivals go toe-to-toe in the latest instalment of their great rivalry.

This year's clash will kick off at 5.15pm on Saturday, December 29, in what will be the middle fixture for both sides in the three festive derbies.

Munster will travel to Belfast next weekend for the first of those against Ulster.

And they will also be on the road for the third interpro when they make their shortest journey of the campaign to Galway to take on Connacht.

That game will be followed by the crucial Champions Cup clash away to Gloucester before they wrap up their pool campaign at home to Exeter Chiefs.

Tickets for that final pool encounter against the Chiefs on Saturday, January 19, at Thomond Park are still available on munsterrugby.ie.
