AFTER losing Paul O'Connell and Conor Murray to injuries, Munster have been boosted by potential return of David Wallace this weekend.
The flanker has been out of action since injuring his knee in Ireland's final World Cup warm-up match against England last August, but Munster manager Shaun Payne says they are hoping to play the two-time Heineken Cup winner in Sunday's Pro12 clash away to Aironi.
"He is doing very well at the minute and we are considering him for this weekend," said Payne yesterday. "He has been back with us for a few weeks and has been in full training this week."
Meanwhile, Munster supremo Tony McGahan's appointment as Australian defensive coach has been confirmed by the Australian Rugby Union, but it will not be announced until the complete management team is finalised.
