Manning mauls Ravens
Munster A 27
Ulster Ravens 3
Munster A booked their place in the final of the British and Irish Cup with a workmanlike performance to see off the Ulster Ravens at Thomond Park yesterday.
Man-of-the-match Jeremy Manning paved the way for the win with two well-taken tries, one in each half, as Munster underlined their strength in depth.
Mike Sherry and Duncan Williams also touched down for tries, while out-half Declan Cusack added seven points from the boot.
Michael Allen stood out for the Ulstermen but his best efforts were in vain as the Ravens ran out of steam in the second half.
Scorers -- Munster: Manning 2, Williams, Sherry tries; Cusack 2 cons, pen. Ulster: McKinney pen.
