Lilly blooms to earn Mary's late triumph

Chris Lilly was the hero for St Mary's College in Belfield last night, as his 75th-minute try gave the visitors a hard-earned victory.

Mary's trailed by 10-7 at the midway point, but a brace of penalties by Steve Toal-Lennon moved them into the ascendancy just past the hour mark.

Two terrific long-range penalties by Niall Earls restored UCD's lead, but Lilly's excellent try five minutes from time decided the contest.
