Leinster stars back for trip to Treviso

Hugh Farrelly

ROB KEARNEY, Gordon D'Arcy and Eoin Reddan will make their first starts of the season in Treviso tomorrow as Leinster look to build on last weekend's bonus-point win over Cardiff.

Fellow Ireland internationals Cian Healy and Rhys Ruddock also come in for their first starts, with Brian O'Driscoll, Jonathan Sexton and Jamie Heaslip rested. Sexton injured his quad muscle in the warm-up last weekend, but is expected to feature in next week's home clash against Edinburgh.

Sean O'Brien moves across to No 8 in place of Heaslip, with Ruddock on the blindside flank and John Fogarty starting at hooker for Richardt Strauss. Eoin O'Malley comes in for O'Driscoll in the centre alongside D'Arcy, while Reddan is partnered at half-back by Ian Madigan, who scored the bonus-point clinching try against the Blues.

Leinster have revealed that 43,000 tickets have been sold for the October 2 clash with Munster at Lansdowne Road with the fixture set to break the record attendance for Magners League matches -- set in the 'last stand' between Leinster and Ulster four years ago before the stadium was redeveloped.

Meanwhile, Ospreys claim Wasps made an illegal approach for centre Andrew Bishop and have reported the English Premiership club to the Welsh Rugby Union, while Bishop's fellow centre Gavin Henson has appealed to the Welsh club to let him play somewhere else.

The Ospreys play Munster in the Magners League at Thomond Park tomorrow.
