Wicklow U12's rugby squad travelled to St Mary's RFC in Templeogue on Sunday for the hugely anticipated annual fixture.

Wicklow fielded two teams, each playing four matches in the glorious autumn sunshine against competitive St Mary's teams.

Well contested scrums and lineouts along with abundant running gave the spectators some great rugby to enjoy. These two clubs are well matched with the games closely contested.

Wicklow U12s are making good progress this season as they transition to Youths rugby next year. Wicklow thanked St Mary's for hosting and providing refreshments after the blitz and look forward to a return fixture in Ashtown Lane later in the year.

Next up for these Wicklow boys is training next weekend with the Carlow South East Blitz in two weeks' time for all Wicklow Minis players.
