Wicklow girls show off their skills on big stage

Wicklow and Arklow’s U-12s at Donnybrook during the Women’s Six Nations

Wicklow RFC's U-12 Girls continued their top form with a fabulous half-time display in Donnybrook at the recent Women's Six Nations match between Ireland and Italy.

Representing Leinster, the U-12s played Sligo RFC in an athletic and fluent display from the entire team.

All of the girls' families were there in support, as well as the U-14 Girls' team.

The girls had a great day out, which included forming a guard of honour to lead the Italian team on to the pitch and meeting the Irish women's team afterwards for photos and autographs.

Meanwhile back in Wicklow, Tullow RFC were the latest visitors to Ashtown Lane on a bitterly cold Sunday morning.

Teams from U-7s to U-12s braved the freezing conditions and put on some great displays.
