Tom Daly - Take 20

1: Pre-match meal?

Chicken, potatoes and glass of apple juice.

2: Favourite player growing up?

Two of them. Ma'a Nonu and Brian O'Driscoll.

3: Best away day room-mate and why?

Adam Byrne. We live together anyway so know each other inside out so that helps when rooming with a fella.

4: Who would headline your house party?

The Weekend.

5: First song they would play?

'Starboy'.

6: You win the lotto, what is the first thing you would buy?

A house in the Algarve.

7: Favourite movie?

'The Shawshank Redemption'.

8: Favourite TV show and why?

'House of Cards'. One of the only series on Netflix or box-sets that I've actually managed to finish.

9: Earliest rugby memory growing up?

Playing Under 10s rugby in Carlow with Bryan and Ed Byrne... those boys were monsters!

10: Who is the joker in the dressing room?

Nick McCarthy is a little blackguard!

11: Favourite holiday destination and why?

Portugal is amazing and the weather is always good. West coast of America is pretty good too.

12: Favourite away ground to play at?

Thomond Park.

13: Three people (dead or alive) who you would invite to dinner?

Conor McGregor, LeBron James and Emily Ratajkowski.

14: Most memorable moment in rugby?

First cap for Leinster, which was away in Zebre and first start in the RDS against Glasgow last year.

15: Do you have any pre-match superstitions/rituals?

We all travel down from the house together to the game, with Adam Byrne, Josh van der Flier and Peter Dooley.

16: Who is the best player you have played alongside and why?

Isa. He is the GOAT.

17: Who is the best player you have played against and why?

Exeter and England's Henry Slade stands out in my mind. I just remember playing against him when he was with England U20s and just thinking this fella is outrageous.

18: Can you tell us one interesting fact about yourself?

Might come as a surprise... but I can run faster than Adam Byrne!

19: Name three things that are always in your fridge?

Natural yoghurt, steak and milk.

20: Best advice you ever got?

Use the time when you're injured to come back a better player... and I hope I have done that.
