1. What boots do you wear?

Adidas Predator Flare.

2. What's your pre-training routine?

I always have a coffee pre-training. Either from Thru The Green or I make them in the cafe in UCD where there's always a bit of competition on who can do the best latte art!

3. You're in charge of the after-match tunes, what goes on first?

I have to assess the audience! It could range from Christy Moore to Drake!

4. Imagine a world that you're not a rugby player - what's your job?

I would probably be an engineer but I'd love to travel and see what happens.

Bear Grylls, a phone (if there's WiFi), and a good book.

6. Which team-mate would you want with you on the island and why?

I reckon Garry Ringrose would be a good man to have, he's a hunter in his spare time!

7. What was your favourite book as a child?

Harry Potter.

8. What's your first sporting memory as a player or spectator and what do you remember from it?

Not taking off my football boots for the whole day after my first football game.

9. You have one moment from your career to do over. What is it?

I loved the experience of my first European game or else my first Irish cap.

10. What rugby skill would you most like to possess?

A big side-step.

11. Favourite boxset/TV series?

'Breaking Bad' will be hard to beat but Luke McGrath is a big fan of 'Power' and has recommended it so I'll give that a shot.

12. What current player in your position do you most admire?

I think Waisake Naholo and Rieko Ioane are electric.

13. Who has been the biggest influence on your rugby career and why?

A few of my earlier coaches. Wayne Mitchell had a big influence starting off in the underage Leinster program.

14 What was your first car?

A Suzuki Swift with speed stripes.

15. What sporting event makes your bucket list and why?

I reckon the Super Bowl would be great craic so that gets my vote.

16. One minute to go in the Champions Cup final, you're three points down and you have a penalty in front of the posts… what do you do?

Take the scrum and go straight to the backs!

17. What was the last concert you went to?

Longitude.

18. Tell us something interesting about yourself.

I'm learning to play the guitar.

19. What's your own best memory playing rugby?

I've a few great memories but the first time our house all played in a game together was a great day! So me, Josh van der Flier, Tom Daly and Peter Dooley. Zebre away in 2017 I think it was.

20. Who'll win the Gallagher Premiership in England and the Top 14 in France? Saracens and Toulouse.
