1: Pre-match meal?

Spaghetti and meatballs.

2: Favourite player growing up?

Former New Zealand captain Richie McCaw.

3: Best away day room-mate and why?

Harry Byrne. He's a typical sword! Those Michael's lads are all the same!

4: Who would headline your house party?

Fleetwood Mac.

5: First song they would play?

A classic...Dreams!

6: You win the lotto, what is the first thing you would buy?

A big gaff for myself and my family.

7: Favourite movie?

Pulp Fiction.

8: Favourite TV show and why?

Narcos. It's just fascinating to see how the drug cartels operated and how they managed to manipulate the system for so long. Until Agent Pena came along!

9: Earliest rugby memory growing up?

Leinster winning the Heineken Cup in 2009.

10: Who is the joker in the dressing room?

Will Connors.

11: Favourite holiday destination and why?

Barcelona. Great sights and superb restaurants.

12: Favourite away ground to play at?

Thomond Park.

13: Three people (dead or alive) who you would invite to dinner?

Jack Nicholson, Frankie Boyle and James Corden.

14: Most memorable moment in rugby?

My first Ireland under-18s cap was pretty special. Representing my family, my club Suttonians and school St Fintan's in an Ireland jersey is something that doesn't happen every day.

15: Do you have any pre-match superstitions/rituals?

No. I keep it fairly relaxed and I don't get too bogged down in rituals.

16: Who is the best player you have played alongside and why?

Jordan Larmour. Not actually sure why but all I know is that whenever I get up from a scrum and look up he is usually under the posts touching down, so he must be good.

17: Who is the best player you have played against and why?

The Italian under-20s scrum-half Charly Trussardi. He's with Clermont Auvergne. Very difficult to defend against, elusive runner, you always had to be aware of what he might do.

18: Can you tell us one interesting fact about yourself?

I was the smallest baby in my family.

19: Name three things that are always in your fridge?

Eggs, chicken and yoghurt.

20: Best advice you ever got?

You write the future.
