The main story around the Bank of Ireland Leinster Schools Senior Cup first round will centre on the participation of St Fintan's High School from Sutton under coach Robert Forbes.

The Leinster Senior League semi-finalists have climbed the grades in stunning fashion from winning the development cup in 2009 to standing tall on the biggest stage for the first time. They will have to be in top form to overcome Clongowes Wood at Donnybrook on Tuesday.

Holders Belvedere will set out to complete their third back-to-back triumph against St Andrew's at Donnybrook on Sunday.

Round One Fixtures:

Sunday: Belvedere v St Andrew's, Donnybrook 3.0.

Monday: Blackrock College v The King's Hospital, Donnybrook 3.0.

Tuesday: Clongowes Wood v St Fintan's HS, Sutton, Donnybrook 3.0.

Wednesday: St Mary's v Newbridge, Donnybrook 3.0.

Thursday: St Michael's v St Gerard's, Donnybrook 3.0; Terenure v Vinnie Murray Qualifier, Castle Avenue 3.0.

Friday: Gonzaga v Castleknock, Donnybrook 3.0; Cistercian Roscrea v Vinnie Murray Qualifier, Castle Avenue 3.0.
