Pool 1 leaders Toulouse will be heading to the RDS tomorrow full of confidence sitting top of the group and going well in France's Top 14, with only Clermont between them and top spot.

Their October win over Leinster created much of that momentum, while more recently they beat Toulon 39-0.

The four-time European Cup champions, whose most recent title came in 2010, have had a barren spell in terms of silverware but now look to have returned to their exhilarating best with power and speed in abundance.

When the two sides clashed in October, influential back-row Jerome Kaino was serving a five-game suspension but he's expected to play this time around.

Two of their decorated players from the 1990s, Ugo Mola and Regis Sonnes, are at the helm and have renewed Toulouse's values.

Mola was named as head coach in 2015 before being joined last year by Sonnes who had made the surprise move of stepping away from professional rugby to settle in Bandon in West Cork.

Sonnes coached Bandon RFC and Bandon Grammar School in his "refreshing" two years there.
