Hooker Sean Cronin is likely to be available for this weekend's Guinness PRO 12 clash against the Ospreys after successfully coming off the bench against Ulster Ravens in his first game since hamstring surgery.

There were no major casualties resulting from Saturday's Champions Cup win against Wasps although winger Adam Byrne was withdrawn early with a low grade hamstring strain and will target a return to training next week.

Full-back Rob Kearney successfully underwent surgery on a bicep injury and a definitive time on his return will be given in due course.

Johnny Sexton was treated for a shoulder injury in the second-half against Wasps.

Dominic Ryan could be available after a knee injury and will be assessed this week while Zane Kirchner, Jack Conan, Rhys Ruddock and Dave Kearney may all be available.
