Mullingar U-13s top the table after round five of the Leinster League after a 39-10 win away to Naas.

Results to date include an away win at Tullamore, two home victories versus Kilkenny and Portarlington and a draw away to Boyne RFC.

This talented U-13s squad are doing the club proud with excellent performances on the pitch and exemplary behaviour off it.

This was a great victory in windy conditions to a good Naas team with first-half tries from Sean Cronin (two) and Fionn O'Hara putting the Westmeath team into a commanding 17-5 half-time lead.

They managed to build on that in the second half with Ben McGauran, Conor Gibney and Evan Molloy getting ties before Cronin grabbed his hat-trick.
