The Leinster School of Excellence is going on tour this Halloween to six venues across the province.

The Leinster School of Excellence on Tour is designed for players aged between 10-16 years of age who want to learn to play rugby the Leinster way.

Players who participate in the camps will develop their skills, obtain a greater understanding of game awareness and learn about rugby values such as team work, commitment, integrity and communication.

This year, there will be a nutritional talk on how best to eat to be healthy while playing sports and there will also be information around match time and hydration.

Secondly, we will be giving increased education around strength and conditioning, and what is appropriate for young players at stage one (6-12) and stage two (13+).

In addition, this year there is a girl’s only School of Excellence on Tour that will run in Cill Dara RFC.

Players who attend the Leinster School of Excellence on Tour will be coached by Leinster Rugby staff that all have a vast amount of experience in providing top-quality coaching to these young teens.

Participants will receive a Leinster Rugby Canterbury of New Zealand contact top.

Camps run from October 28-30 (Tuesday to Thursday) from 10am-2pm daily in Athboy RFC, Cill Dara RFC (boys and girl’s camp), Donnybrook, Gorey RFC, Tullamore RFC and Westmanstown RFC.
