2. Who sits beside you in the dressing-room?

Rhys Ruddock. He has his moments!

3. What is currently on your playlist?

Everything. Whatever catches my attention at any given moment so I have everything from Christy Moore to Daft Punk. I'm enjoying the Coronas at the moment also.

4. What did you want to be growing up?

A rugby player.

5. Best advice you ever got?

It's all about the top two inches.

6. Worst advice you ever got?

Sure we'll just go for one...

7. What is your phone screensaver at the moment?

Lough Corrib.

8. What are your last three Google searches?

1. Weather in Lyon. 2. German shepherds. 3. Coronas upcoming gigs.

9. You can be another sportsperson in the world, in any sport and for one event . . . who are you and what is the event?

Usain Bolt. And probably running in the Olympics 100m final.

10. What is your favourite sandwich filling?

I don't think this can be just bought anywhere. This is very specific to my family and St Stephen's Day in our house in particular. It's chicken with sausage-meat stuffing.

11. What was the last thing you bought?

A universal ticket.

12. If money was no object, who do you sign for Leinster Rugby and why?

I think I'd just re-invest in what we have already. Great set-up with the Leinster Sub-Academy and the Leinster Academy and I think we have a really exciting system that builds from the clubs and schools so I would just continue to invest in the system we have.

13. What is your favourite piece of rugby memorabilia?

My first Test jersey with Ireland. It was my dream to represent my country so to actually do it was very special.

14. Favourite away ground to have played at?

Stade de France.

15. What is the one staple item that all men should own and why?

A pair of runners. Get out there and be active.

16. What is your favourite Instagram page?

The @germanshepherds page!

17. What was the last holiday you went on?

I was in Belgium for a break.

18. Book or Kindle - and why?

Book - there is more life to it.

19. What's your own best memory playing rugby?

It's really hard to pick one as I have been lucky enough to have had a few great days with both Leinster and Ireland. I suppose the Grand Slam, the European Cup with Leinster and beating the All Blacks in Dublin stand out.

20. Which young player should fans be looking out for this season and why?

Scott Fardy. He is youthful exuberance personified.
