St Mary's Secondary School boys played their first ever rugby match away to Wilson's Hospital School, Multi-farnham.

On a historic day, this was a great game of rugby in dry cold conditions and both sets of played a complete running game of rugby, sharing 13 tries, with St Mary's edging it.

Edenderry rugby officer Patsy Gorman commended the commitment of these players to training and the skillset and effort on the day was also super.

Briain Nolan captained the side and Sean Gill was player of the match.
