Garry Ringrose is in line to make his first appearance of the season against The Dragons in the PRO14 League at The RDS on Friday night (KO 7.35, TG4).

He will have to come through training this week to convince coach Leo Cullen he is ready to return from shoulder surgery.

The Ireland outside centre could do with the hit out ahead of The Champions Cup back-to-back against Exeter Chiefs next month.

He could very well be joined by club captain Isa Nacewa, who has returned to training this week from an ankle injury.

The same goes for Fergus McFadden, who has overcome a hamstring strain to provide much needed experience to what will be a young outfit.

Ireland flanker Dan Leavy could also be in line for a run-out, now that he has shaken off a tightness to his hamstring which ruined his November international prospects.
