It was too easy for Leinster in this challenge match at Banbridge as they outscored Ulster five tries to one.

The Ulster squad looked strong on paper and did well to hold their opponents to a 11-10 interval advantage but the second half was a one-sided affair.

Cathal Marsh had kicked Leinster into an early lead. Stuart McCloskey's try put Ulster ahead, but Leinster hit back to retake the lead through Ian Nagle.

The half-time talk worked wonders for Leinster as they dominated the remainder of the encounter.

Ulster kept fighting but four more tries were conceded.

Ireland hooker Sean Cronin - on as a replacement as he returns from injury - and Peadar Timmins touched down within minutes, and then speedy winger Barry Daly crossed twice.
