For 50 coaches Tackle Tech was the focus on a cold Tuesday night in Coolmine RFC for the First Leinster Metro Stage 1 Coach Development night.

However, the chilly conditions did not dampen the spirits of the 50 coaches who attended from more than 10 clubs in the Metro Area.

This is an initiative undertaken to help provide ideas for all club coaches in the area.

The coaches on the night took an active part in each part of the training, some finding that they "haven't lost it" or "never had it".

It was a very active session both during the games and in the discussions after.

All the coaches who attended embraced what they were asked to do and are a credit to their clubs and to the kids they are coaching.
