Leinster linked with a summer move for Aussie Drew Mitchell
Reports in the Australian media have emerged linking Heineken Cup champions Leinster with a move for Drew Mitchell.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Mitchell has been in contact with Leinster over a possible move to the RDS this summer.
The speedy Waratahs winger has yet to open contract negotiations with his club and two French Top 14 clubs are also believed to be tracking Mitchell.
Mitchell, who has 63 caps for he Wallabies, is a proven tryscorer and is equally comfortable at full-back.
The 28 year old came on as a substitute for Australia in Ireland’s famous victory over the Aussies in the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
