England have been boosted with news that two key players, Wasps lock Joe Launchbury and Saracens No 8 Billy Vunipola, will return to action this weekend after lengthy absences due to injury.
Launchbury's availability after 14 weeks out following knee surgery is timely for club and country. Wasps have won only one of their past 13 matches in all competitions and are in need of a pick-me-up for their important Gallagher Premiership match against Northampton on Sunday.
Launchbury will add ballast as well as experience to Eddie Jones's Six Nations squad, as will the equally substantial figure of Vunipola.
