IRELAND’S blindside flanker Kevin McLaughlin has been accused of eye-gouging in last Saturday’s dramatic test against the All Blacks.

The accusation was made by outspoken New Zealand TV sports presenter Murray Deaker this week.

He highlighted the possible eye gauging on his show, zooming in on the incident in great detail.

It appears to show All Blacks captain Richie McCaw being repeatedly raked across the eyes and face.

McLaughlin was not cited for the incident, which was not a point of controversy at the time.

Ireland play the final of the three tests in Hamilton, New Zealand, tomorrow morning.

The test was dramatically won by the All Blacks 22-19 in the final moments.

The home team won the first test handsomely a week earlier.
