World Cup semi finals, two Six Nations titles and increase in women's participation - Key targets from IRFU plan Sportsdesk

The IRFU have targeted reaching the semi-final of the next two World Cups as part of their new strategic plan.

While chief executive Philip Browne and performance director David Nucifora are also planning for life after Joe Schmidt, and at least another two Six Nations titles in the next five years.

There are also ambitions targets for the women's game and while there are no plans to go professional, there are ambitious targets to increase participation levels.
