'We're so in love': baby joy for rugby star Bowe
Irish rugby star Tommy Bowe and his wife Lucy Whitehouse have welcomed their first child into the world.
The Ulster wing (33) and his wife of two years Lucy became proud parents on Sunday.
The couple have named their baby girl Emma.
The winger shared a photo of baby Emma on social media.
Talking about the arrival of their new born, he said: "We are so in love."
The couple had kept news of Lucy's pregnancy under wraps. Lucy, a former Miss Wales who now works as a nurse, lives with the rugby star in Belfast.
The former British and Irish Lion first met her in 2011, when he was playing for Ospreys in a match in Wales.
The couple tied the knot in Wales in June 2015.
"Married life is going well, everything has been great," he said after the wedding.
He joked last May that a dog was "enough chaos" for the couple when he was asked if they were hoping to hear the pitter-patter of little feet.
