What. A. Win.

Nobody gave Ireland U20 a chance to beat the Baby Blacks at the Junior World Cup this afternoon - one bookie had the men in green as 40-point underdogs.

Regardless, Nigel Carolan's men put in a heroic performance to slay the giants from the Land of the Long White Cloud and claim a thoroughly deserved 33-24 win. It is the first time that an Ireland men's team have beaten New Zealand at any level and coupled win the opening victory over Wales, Carolan's side are now on the cusp of qualification for the semi-final.

If Ireland can see off Georgia in their pool finale, they will play in the final four and can be confident of going all the way after beating the Six Nations Grand Slam champions as well as New Zealand.

No doubt the team will park the famous victory tomorrow morning but judging from these videos, the Ireland players are rightfully savouring the historic win before they start planning for their next game.
