This perfect picture of Peter O'Mahony encapsulates one of the most passionate men in Ireland

Peter O'Mahony waited a long time to get his chance in an Ireland jersey again and he didn't let the opportunity slip today.

The Munster flanker made a key cameo off the bench in Ireland's 27-24 win over Australia at the Aviva Stadium, making a key poach that all but sealed victory late on.

O'Mahony missed almost 12 months with a knee injury, and was omitted from the matchday squad for both clashes with the All Blacks this November.

O'Mahony's passion is well documented, from belting out the national anthem to spurring on his team-mates on the pitch, and this portrait taken by Sportsfile's Brendan Moran after the final whistle sums up the Munster man's character.

A great picture from a great win.
