Te'o to miss out on South Africa Tour
Worcester centre Ben Te'o has been ruled out of England's three-Test South Africa tour.
England head coach Eddie Jones has made three changes to his original 34-man squad, with Te'o sidelined due to what the RFU described as a "small repair to a quad muscle".
The former rugby league player only appeared 12 times for Worcester last season and travelled to Australia during the campaign to undergo a self-funded rehabilitation programme after having a plate inserted in his ankle.
The 31-year-old has played 13 times for England and last featured against Ireland at Twickenham in March.
Sale Sharks back Cameron Redpath and flanker Jack Willis, who both have knee injuries, are also out for the tour.
The RFU announced call-ups for uncapped Gloucester full-back Jason Woodward, Northampton back Piers Francis and Wasps number eight Nathan Hughes.
Jones' men kick off their South African campaign on June 9 at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
England have lost four matches in-a-row - including Sunday's non-cap match against the Barbarians - and last won in February against Wales in the Six Nations.
