Jordan Larmour will be named in Ireland’s Six Nations squad, scheduled for release this afternoon.

It is understood Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has become convinced in a way he wasn’t heading into November.

Little wonder, Larmour has been the talk of the game for the electric performances he has put on in recent weeks.

The 20 year-old has been trusted at full-back for one try of the season contender against Munster and two more against Ulster over the Christmas-New Year period.

Then, there was a lot to like about the basics of his positional play and selflessness on the counter against Glasgow Warriors at the weekend.
