Ireland and Munster winger Simon Zebo has suffered a knee injury during an open training session in Galway.

Zebo was forced to leave the field with an ice-pack strapped to his knee after aggravating an injury.

Gordon D'Arcy was also helped from the pitch during the session and Isaac Boss was forced to retire early with a hamstring injury.

The 45-man Irish squad are preparing for four World Cup warm-up games next month ahead of the Rugby World Cup in September and October.

In little over two month the reigning Six Nations champions will get their campaign underway against Canada with Schmidt still considering his options before naming his final squad.

Today also marked the launch of the official World Cup jersey, with O'Connell, Sean O'Brien and Rob Kearney giving fans their first opportunity to see the new strip.
