Howley turns to Biggar for Wales squad
Dan Biggar's run of impressive form for the Ospreys this season has earned him a recall to the Wales squad for the autumn Test series.
Biggar, who delivered an impressive display in the Ospreys' defeat by Leicester on Sunday, is one of six changes to the 35-man squad announced by Wales caretaker head coach Rob Howley.
Biggar last played for Wales against the Barbarians on June 2 but was omitted from the squad that lost the Test series 3-0 to Australia.
Biggar's Ospreys team-mate Aaron Jarvis is the only uncapped player named in Howley's squad, which also sees a return of Cardiff Blues centre Jamie Roberts and Scarlets pair Rob McCusker and Tavis Knoyle.
Sam Warburton retains the captaincy for the Test series against Argentina, Samoa, New Zealand and Australia next month but, as expected, there is no return for London Welsh's Gavin Henson.
"We are really pleased with the strength and depth of the squad with some pleasing individual performances over the last three or four weeks," said Howley, who is in charge of Wales while Warren Gatland focuses on his preparations for the Lions tour of Australia next summer.
"But we all understand the skill, physicality and intensity will go up over the next five weeks. We know how important momentum is going to be and the bigger picture is the World Cup draw in December."
