Hand snatches it for St Pat's

The control of out-half Christian Byrne and ground skills of openside Conor Farrell were the main ingredients to St Patrick's come-from-behind win in the Leinster Schools Duff Junior Cup semi-final at North Kildare RFC yesterday.

The Meath boys used their size to dominate the ball, but were hit by a sucker punch when Templeogue carved out a superb breakaway try by their full-back Chris Bennett in the 16th minute.

St Pat's hit back with their first five-pointer from centre Jordan Ntambwe to level it up just before the interval and Conor Hand got the decisive try, in the 46th minute, converted by the excellent Byrne.
