Watch: 'Are you questioning my team-mates?' - Peter O'Mahony stands up for Munster in testy post-match exchange
Munster were beaten 23-17 by Leinster at the Aviva Stadium today and their captain Peter O'Mahony wasn't happy to have his side's efforts questioned in a post-match interview.
The Ireland star was involved in a physical back row battle, with Joe Schmidt in attendance to survey his options ahead of the November internationals.
O'Mahony spoke to TG4 after Munster's six-point defeat, with former Leinster prop Reggie Corrigan tasked with asking the questions.
A testy exchange followed towards the end of the interview, with O'Mahony giving Corrigan an intense stare after being asked whether his team could have given more.
Reggie Corrigan: 'What do you think about the intensity from your team-mates out there? Was there enough in the game? Did they give enough do you think?'
Peter O'Mahony: 'What do you mean? Are you questioning my team-mates?'
Reggie Corrigan: 'I'm talking about the intensity that came from the team, did you feel they were giving as much as they could possibly give out there?'
Peter O'Mahony: 'Yes, 100%.'
Reggie Corrigan: 'I'm not trying to catch you out Peter, I'm just asking the question of whether you felt maybe they left something in the dressing room, that there was more they could have given?'
Peter O'Mahony: 'No, 100% not.'
Munster travel to France to take on Castres in their Champions Cup opener next weekend while Leinster start their European adventure at home to Montpellier.
