Former All Black Jarrad Hoeata was sent-off today for a dangerously high tackle on Leinster's Rob Kearney during their Guinness Pro12 clash with the Cardiff Blues at Cardiff Arms Park.

Leinster scored an early Noel Reid try after a fabulous break from Jimmy Gopperth but Cardiff roared back into the lead and were 13-5 up when Hoeta did this.

He was justifiably red-carded and has been pinged for a similar offence in the past when making a tackle on Aaron Cruden during his time with the Highlanders.
