Former Ireland U-20 pair on the move

rugby

Former Connacht prop Conan O'Donnell will continue his worldwide career path as he swaps Japan for New Zealand.

The Sligo native spent the second half of last season playing with the Sunwolves and is now set to join Counties Manukau, who compete in the Mitre 10 Cup - one level below Super Rugby.

Another former Ireland U-20 international is also on the move as Northampton eye up Tadhg McElroy.

The hooker, who is from Dundalk, joined the Saracens Academy two years ago but after failing to break through, moved to Bedford on loan last season.
