DO THE DOUBLE

Wayne Bailey

RUGBY: The last time Ireland beat Australia in a Test match away, Brendan Shine was No 1 in the charts with 'Do you want your oul lobby washed down' (1979). Sadly, I doubt we'll see a No 1 like that again with today's iPod generation and I also doubt we'll see an Irish win Down Under, considering Ireland's form on this year's tour. Back the Wallabies in the half-time/full-time market at 8/15 if you are up in time for the 11.0 start.

RACING: Marywell (8.50 Doncaster) has the looks, the pedigree and the early form to make a great little filly. The layers have chalked her up at 13/8 early-doors for this maiden, which looks way too high. By my reckoning, she could have two or three pounds in hand this evening.
