Ireland prop Linda Djougang is hoping that her side can finish a disappointing Six Nations campaign on a positive note by beating Wales on Sunday, writes Cian Tracey.

Having moved to Dublin from Cameroon when she was nine years old, Djougang fulfilled a dream by wearing the green jersey throughout the Six Nations.

Djougang has made great strides having only taken up rugby a couple of years ago as she continues her development on the international stage.

"Wearing that green jersey, you feel like it was so worth it," the Leinster player said.

"Even when we do the jersey presentation. When they give you that jersey, I'm like, 'Oh my God, this is mine'. It has been an incredible journey and it's only the beginning of women's rugby.

"We hope to just keep moving forward and definitely finish against Wales on a high note. That's really the goal now. Hopefully we accomplish that."
