Connacht are continuing to count the cost of last week's bruising defeat to Ulster at the Sportsground with two major injuries confirmed from the game.

Influential back-row Willie Faloon will be out for up to five months after a scan revealed that the 27-year-old will need surgery on a foot injury.

There was also bad news for Jason Harris-Wright who was forced off in the first half of last weekend's 17-8 defeat to their provincial rivals.

A scan yesterday revealed that the 25-year-old tore his bicep and is looking at 4 – 6 weeks on the side-lines.

Meanwhile, Dave McSharry and Denis Buckley have stepped up their rehabilitation in recent days and have re-joined training, but remain unavailable for selection just yet.

Craig Clarke, who made his debut for Connacht last time out, trained this week and is in the frame for selection for this Saturday's Rabodirect Pro12 clash with the Ospreys.
