It's win or bust for Galwegians as they host leaders Garryowen in the Ulster Bank League Division 1B tomorrow week.
This fixture has been primed as the key game in the division for some time now, and after the events of last weekend 'Wegians are on the back foot.
Matt Brown's men lost 36-34 at Belfast Harlequins and that was compounded by the Limerick side beating Malone 34-12.
Garryowen are top and 'Wegians are second having led for most of the season and with Trinity only four points back they may miss out on promotion entirely.
Trinity host Harlequins knowing that a bonus-point win could lift them into the promotion/relegation play-off place.
But Galwegians know a win will give them automatic promotion - and they beat Garryowen 10-6 at Dooradoyle in December 6.
The Crowley Park outfit might be on the up, but rivals Corinthians will play their rugby in Division 2A next year after they were relegated last weekend.
They had a treacherous run of results after a poor season and a 32-11 defeat at home to Trinity sealed their fate. They travel to UL Bohemians tomorrow week.
Elsewhere, Buccaneers will be looking to bounce back following a 32-0 hammering at home to Bohs when they play Ballymena at Eaton Park.
