Tuam RFC Girls' Youth section is entering its third season and is going from strength to strength. Last season we fielded teams at U-15 and U-18 levels.

Our aim this season is to continue to build on this progress and further develop our player base at all levels by promoting girls rugby in Tuam and surrounding areas.

We are excited for the future and can see great potential. Already this season our U-18s have competed strongly in two blitzes, even fielding two teams in a home blitz. We are hugely proud that five of our girls were selected for the Connacht U-18 squad for this season.

The section is headed by two experienced coaches John Ward and Owen Lydon, who are assisted by members of the club's Ladies' team and supported by branch development officer Wendy Hickey.

We are confident that all season goals will be achieved.

Training takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8.15, and new members are always welcome.
