Take 20: 'Winning the Pro12 and beating the All Blacks are my career highlights'

1. What boots do you wear and why? I wear Adidas Kakari - They have great support for my ankles and are ideal for scrummaging.

2. You're in charge of the after-match tunes, what goes on first?

I'd have a few oldies but a few goldies!

3. Imagine a world where you're not a rugby player - what's your job?

WWE wrestling looks like fun.

4. Stranded on a desert island, what three things do you take?

I'd need my PS4 to play Fortnite obviously. I'd have to bring my dog Bane and my phone, I couldn't survive without that.

5. Which team-mate would you want with you and why?

I'd bring Tom McCartney because I enjoy his extremely dry jokes.

6. What was your favourite book as a child?

That would have to be Harry Potter

7 What's your pre-training routine?

I usually have two coffees and then do some mobility work.

8. What's your first sporting memory as a player or spectator?

I remember watching the Brumbies play in Canberra. That's probably my earliest memory. I can't remember what age I was.

9. You have one moment from your career to do over. What is it?

There is nothing that comes to mind. I'm lucky enough, like most players there is loads of good days. I tend to remember those the best.

10. What rugby skill would you most like to possess?

Super speed.

11. Favourite song lyric?

I can't think of one that stands out.

12. What current player in your position do you most admire?

John Afoa has had a long, successful, injury-free career which is impressive. He always impressed at the highest level for club and country.

13. What former coach has had the biggest effect on your game and why?

Pat Lam had a big effect on my career. I was coming on the scene when he arrived in the club and our Pro12 win was obviously a big highlight of my career.

14. What was your first car?

It was a Nissan Pulsar. I have upgraded since.

15. What sporting event makes your bucket list?

I'm a big UFC fan so I'd love to go and see a fight in Las Vegas

16. One minute to go in the Champions Cup final, your team is four points down back on your own line. What do you do?

Just give the ball to Matt Healy and let him do his thing!

17. What was the last concert you went to?

Limp Bizkit

18. Tell us something interesting about yourself.

I have a dog called Bane and he's Dogue De Bordeaux, a French mastiff!

19. What's your best memory playing rugby for Connacht?

Winning the Pro12 with Connacht in 2016 and beating All Blacks in Chicago .

20. Who'll win the 2019 Guinness PRO14, Champions Cup and Rugby World Cup?

I'll say Connacht to win the PRO14, Leinster are looking good for the Champions Cup and Ireland obviously for the World Cup in Japan.
