There remains little sign of a rejuvenation in Brive's season as Connacht's Challenge Cup rivals tasted a 41-24 loss away to Toulon last weekend - the concession of six tries throughout and four yellow cards in the eight minutes before half-time cost them dearly.

Chris Ashton showed his class with two excellent tries for Toulon in the second half, although Brive did manage a mini revival as Karlen Asieshvilli, Gaetan Germain and Samuel Marques scored tries in the final quarter.

Oyonnax's poor form also continued and they are still searching for a second league win of the season after a 52-18 reversal against Lyon.

Three Ben Botica penalties kept them in touch, but yellow cards for Valentin Ursache and Quentin Etienne in the 30th and 60th minutes hamstrung Oyonnax. During those two ten-minute spells Lyon scored three tries, although Curtis Browning did run in a late consolation for the visitors, who host Castres this weekend.

In the English Premiership, Worcester Warriors somehow only claimed two bonus points after they ran in six tries in an 11-try epic against Harlequins. David Denton, Perry Humphreys and John Adams scored for Warriors in the first half and Dean Hammond added two more after the resumption, but their poor return from the tee cost the winless Warriors.

Northampton Saints are the visitors to Sixways tomorrow.
