Griffin returns to Connacht as O'Halloran signs
Connacht have bolstered their centre options ahead of Robbie Henshaw's expected exit at the end of the season by persuading Eoin Griffin to return home.
The 25-year-old Galway native left the Sportsground for London Irish before last season but has opted to move back at the end of his contract next summer after signing a two-year deal.
The westerners have also secured the signature of Tiernan O'Halloran until 2018 after the in-form full-back committed his future to his home province. The 24-year-old is enjoying his best season in green and has been rewarded with the captaincy on a number of occasions.
"Tiernan has a massive influence on and off the field and I believe his work ethic and attitude will see him making an even bigger impact playing at Connacht going forward," coach Pat Lam said. "It's great that Eoin is returning to his home team. He will bring different attributes to the side on and off the park."
