Buccaneers can pull further clear of the relegation zone in Division 1B of the All-Ireland League when they clash with Old Belvedere at Anglesea Road tomorrow.

The Athlone outfit claimed a crucial 24-17 win at home to City of Armagh last weekend, just their second victory of the season, and they are three points clear of bottom side Ballymena now.

In Division 2A Galwegians are adrift in 10th position, nine points behind Blackrock College, and they need a win when they go to Balreask Old for a big game against Navan on Saturday.

Galwegians have lost all seven of their games this season and need to pick up their first victory soon.

In Division 2B, Corinthians are at home to Sligo in a huge Connacht derby at Corinthian Park. Corinthians are fifth, three points and two places above Sligo in the table.

In 2C Ballina continue to lead the way and they host Bangor in Heffernan Park tomorrow.
