Buccaneers look to build on encouraging triumph

Buccaneers will look for back-to-back victories in Division 1B of the All-Ireland League tomorrow when they clash with Ballynahinch at Ballymacarn Park.

The Athlone outfit claimed a huge 41-14 win at home to Old Wesley last Saturday. Darragh Corbett, Simon Meagher and Thomas McGann scored before Rory O'Connor secured the bonus point and Evan Galvin added a fifth.

Buccaneers are still second from bottom in the 1B standings but they are just six points behind the leaders Naas after three games.

In Division 2A, Galwegians prop up the table and they need a win when they welcome Cashel RFC.

Sligo are sixth in 2B before they face off against Wanderers at Hamilton Park on Saturday. Corinthians are ninth before they go to Hatrick Park for a game against Rainey OB.

Ballina are second in 2C with a 100 per cent record, they are away to Bruff at Kilballyowen Park tomorrow.
