The latest in a long line of Connacht derbies this season takes place at Corinthian Park tonight where Corinthians host Buccaneers in the Ulster Bank League Division 1B (7.30).

Buccs are yet to win against either of their Connacht rivals in the league this season but are 12 points clear of Corinthians.

Corinthians have failed to build on last year's impressive performances and are ninth. They have already lost nine games this term and defeat here could consign them to the bottom of the table once more.

However, the last time these sides met it was a shock 14-10 win to the visitors at Dubarry Park on October 31. Tries from Eoghan Masterson and Pat O'Toole sealed it for Pat Cunningham's men but they haven't backed up that performance since.

Table-toppers Galwegians will be looking to keep the show on the road when they travel to take on Ballymena tomorrow.

After a blip over the Christmas period, 'Wegians recovered to secure back-to-back victories away to UL Bohemians and at home to Buccs.

Ballymena became the first team to beat Galwegians in the league this season when they won 23-22 at Crowley Park on November 1 and 'Wegians will look to exact revenge here.

In Division 2B, Sligo host De La Salle Palmerston at Hamilton Park - the home side will be looking to atone for their 35-13 hammering against Navan last weekend.
