Connacht have been boosted by Bundee Aki's return to training yesterday ahead of Saturday's clash with Leinster at the RDS.

Aki flew back to Ireland on Monday following his wedding in New Zealand last weekend, but coach Andy Friend will leave it until later in the week to decide whether his Ireland centre is ready to face the European and PRO14 champions.

Aki missed only one game because of his nuptials - Connacht's 36-21 bonus-point win away to Perpignan last Friday.

"Bundee is very keen to play - he always is, you know that. He is a footballer, he just wants to be out there playing. It's how we manage that and how we manage that squad," said Friend.

Tom Farrell is also available after his lay-off, with Friend confirming: "Tom is good to go. It's nice to have that bit of depth there."

Connacht have further boosted their back division options by securing U-20 international Tom Daly on loan from Leinster until the end of the season, although he won't be available to play this weekend.
