BELFIELD UCD 22
UCD returned to the top of the table in style as a late Adam Clarkin try secured a bonus-point victory. UCD had taken the lead with a Rory Harrison try nine minutes in. It was still 5-0 at half-time, but Kelly and Joyce put the result beyond doubt before Rory Scannell pulled back a try for Dolphin. Three yellow cards ended the visitors' hopes before Clarkin crossed in stoppage-time.
CORK CONSTITUTION 18
A last-minute try denied Garryowen their first win of the campaign as Cork Con kept the pressure up on leaders UCD.
Con led 6-5 at half-time with two penalties from Johnny Holland sandwiched between a try for Garryowen by Barry O'Mahony.
A penalty and a conversion of a Jamie Gavin try by Harry McNulty put the visitors into a 15-6 lead after 48 minutes. Con rallied, however, and a try by James Ryan, converted by Holland, closed the gap to two until Brian Cagney won it for the home side with a try a minute from time.
YOUNG MUNSTER 10
OLD BELVEDERE 13
Outhalf Steve Crosbie kicked a late penalty to give Old Belvedere a rare win at Clifford Park. He was also on target early on with the only score of the first half and then converted a try by No 8 Jack Conan.
Young Munster mustered tries by Derek O'Connor and Ger Slattery, but it was not enough.
In a tough encounter, 'Hinch, who remain winless, trailed 21-0 at the interval before their fightback fell just short. Foster Horan ran in for the first Lansdowne try before Charlie Butterworth made it 12-0. Scott Deasy added three penalties.
'Hinch came back when a good move resulted in Paul Pritchard touching down for Ritchie Lobb to convert. Lobb then chipped across for Adam Craig to go in at the corner for a second converted try, which gave them a losing bonus point.
UL BOHEMIAN 16
DUBLIN UNIVERSITY 13
Robbie Burke kicked 11 points to give UL Bohemian a narrow win at Annacotty, which he sealed with an 82nd-minute penalty. Jack O'Donoughue also had a try for the home side. Conor Kearns kicked two penalties for the visitors and also converted a try by Mark Michelson.
BELFAST HARLEQUINS 18
BLACKROCK COLLEGE 6
Harlequins gained their first win of the campaign in terrible playing conditions at Deramore Park. There was little between the teams but Quins took their chances and managed two tries, from Tom Fraser and Frank Taggart, while their opponents could only contribute two penalties.
Buccaneers continued their perfect start with a first ever league win over Shannon. The Limerick team lead by a point at half-time, after Richie Mullane and Martin Staunton had exchanged tries but two touchdowns from Diarmuid Higgins and Billy Henshaw sealed the home victory. Keith White secured a losing bonus point with a late try.
TERENURE COLLEGE 27
A brace of tries by hooker Robbie Smyth proved crucial at Lakelands Park. Smyth was joined on the scoresheet by Kyle McCoy and Ian Hanley as Terenure retained their place at the summit.
Dungannon led 13-3 at one stage but then a controversial penalty try swung the game in Corinthians' favour. The score galvanised the visitors, who went on to finish strongly with converted tries from James Connolly and Denis Buckley.
