Leinster's Sean O'Brien struggled to conceal his emotions as Leinster booked another Champions Cup final appearance with a 30-12 victory over Toulouse at the Aviva Stadium yesterday.

The openside flanker roared back to form with a superb display as the four-time champions booked a final meeting with Saracens next month.

The Tullow Tank was delighted with a defensive effort that kept the dangerous French side tryless.

"They are very dangerous, you know you scout their team and look at the amount of quality players they have, they’ve been playing super rugby all year. We had to be on our game defensively today and I thought we managed it well at times," he told Channel 4.

After an underwhelming Six Nations campaign and with only a handful of games left in a Blue shirt ahead of his move to London Irish next season, O'Brien was understandably emotional after yesterday's success.

"Tough day for me here, just the last game in the Aviva for me, so, em, nice to finish with a win anyway."
