Ireland internationals Garry Ringrose and Josh van der Flier are expected to be back for Leinster's away trip to Benetton Treviso in the PRO14 League next Saturday.

Centre Ringrose was the 24th man for Leinster last Friday for their 54-10 domination of the Dragons, as the 22-year-old continues his recovery from a shoulder injury.

The decision was taken to be cautious about his return and the extra week was seen as a ‘sure-to-be-sure’ approach.

He has not played for Leinster since the back-end of last season in the PRO 14 semi-final loss to the Scarlets.

The 22 year-old will be eager to get a hit-out ahead of the back-to-back Champions Cup matches against English champions Exeter Chiefs.

Van der Flier returned from an ankle injury to rugby training last week and came through in fine fashion.

Like Ringrose, the flanker will be determined to come through this week to throw his hat into the ring for the crucial Champions Cup clashes.
